What I Wore

In 2018, I began drawing my outfits to document my evolving personal style and foray into the slow fashion world. The act of illustrating my clothes helped me to articulate and appreciate my wardrobe, and reduce my desire to buy new things. This was also a gentle and fun drawing exercise, easing me back into my creative practice after a long hiatus. Initially titled What I Wore, I began to refer to these illustrations as OOTDs (Outfit of the Day). What culminated was my first-ever zine: the compilation of over 40 outfit drawings celebrating slow fashion. Each illustration is accompanied by a simple tip to gently encourage sustainable practices where possible.
